Marked by a transparent and respectful dialogue, this Saturday morning (29), the Municipality of Senador Canedo, through the Community Affairs Secretariat, organized the “Community Leaders Breakfast”. The event preceded the commemoration of Community Leaders Day on May 5.

“If there is not this contribution from the leaders, we cannot grow, they are essential for the advancement of our city. The Breakfast with Community Leaders project, in the neighborhoods, has come to listen carefully to the requests to try to respond to the requests of the population, ”said the mayor, Fernando Pellozo.

The “Breakfast with Community Leaders” project was designed by the current management and its first edition took place in 2021, in the neighborhood of Flor do Ipê, after a request from the inhabitants of the region so that the mayor could examine closer to the infrastructure. demand, health and education in the neighborhoods.

From that moment, the meeting became a channel between the town hall and the inhabitants, as stated by the president of the Uniasc, Ivanildo Paiva.

“These meetings are very important to build a bridge between the town hall and the inhabitants and we, the leaders, are very happy with this project, because it serves the neighborhood mainly in the creation of squares and infrastructures”, he said. he adds.

According to the secretary, Vanilda Cardoso, Semasc plays an important role in ensuring that this channel of communication between the entity and Canadians is carried out not only with total responsibility but with great seriousness. And she stresses that partnering with community leaders is extremely important because, she says, it is only with the information passed on from them that services can be delivered successfully.
