The 50th edition of Abav Expo will be held at Riocentro, Rio de Janeiro, from September 27-29 this year. Until then, only 50 exhibitors had been announced. This Tuesday (23), however, the organizers of the event have confirmed the presence of several other names of companies from different sectors.
Among the confirmed agencies are Brasileiros em Mendoza, Jeri Paraíso Tropical, Rio Love Story, Transfers Lema and Vicaroni Viagens e Turismo. In the transport segment, JetSmart in the air and, in the land, Hertz Dollar Thrifty, Localiza, Mobility Turismo and Sixt. Asksuite, Beeteller, Civitatis Tours, Doticket, Envision Tecnologia, Juniper, Loupit Travel Tecnology, Monde Sistemas, Protect Group, TurSites, WTS and Xeni make up the Technology domain; in addition to other exhibitors such as Promoação, for events; KITFLY, custom IRP; and IATA, International Air Transport Association. Finally, the IGR Serras Verdes do Sul de Minas region will also be present at this year’s Abav exhibition.
On Wednesday the 31st, at 10 a.m., the ABAV Training and Certification Institute will hold the VIA Rail Canada – Journeys on Rails training. The training is online, free to the public, and is the third webinar on ICCABAV’s agenda for 2023. Registrants will be able to learn about the trains that connect people and destinations on the rails at across Canada.
It will be presented by Sheila Nassar, journalist and CEO of the marketing agency @Vertebratta, who in August 2023 will be 22 years old, of those 20 of specialization in Canadian destinations and services, such as Destination Canada, Air Canada, Tourism Toronto, Tourism Whistler, McArthurGlen Vancouver Design Outlet, YVR – Vancouver International Airport, Tremblant via Alterra Mountain Company and, since 2013, VIA Rail Canada. He positioned Brazil among VIA’s seven main international markets. In addition to being personally in love with the destination, she has visited 6 Canadian provinces and 1 Canadian territory numerous times.
