Actress Samantha Weinstein of “Carry”has died, aged 28, after a two-and-a-half-year battle with ovarian cancer, according to information originally published by the Canadian news siteWorld News.
According to the publication, Samantha died on May 14, but the passing has only now been confirmed by father David Weinstein, who paid tribute to his daughter.
“Sam was actually the living embodiment of a ray of sunshine. She was so full of positive energy that anyone who knew her would say she lit up every room she walked into,” he said.

Preta’s ex-husband, Otavio Muller, Francisco’s father, shared an old photo in which he hugs the singer and their son. “Amor,” he captioned the post, which garnered more than a thousand rave comments.
Flor Gil, Preta’s niece, always publishes stories accompanied by her aunt, even in the hospital, during treatment. The teenager also writes several motivational messages for the singer. “Everything will be fine, aunt. Everything has already worked out. I love you, I love you very much,” he said in one of the posts.
Bela Gil, sister of Preta and mother of Flor, also exalted singer. “Preta is a mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, friend and our love,” he wrote on Instagram.
