Canadian singer Celine Dion has announced the cancellation of her Courage World Tour due to a serious health issue. There were 16 canceled shows, all in North America, which would take place in March and April.

The singer is recovering from “severe and persistent muscle spasms”. The Canadian’s health is hampering her ability to perform. In October 2021, Dion previously postponed his Las Vegas residency over the same issue, saying at the time that he was “heartbroken.”

In an Instagram post, she spoke about the cancellation and having her medical team assess and treat her condition.

“I was really hoping to be ready to go now, but I guess I have to be more patient and stick to the regimen prescribed by my doctors. There’s a lot of organization and preparation on our shows, so we have to take decisions today that will affect plans two months from now. I’ll be delighted to be back in full health as we all go through this pandemic, and I can’t wait to get back on stage. In the meantime, I’ve been very touched by all the words of encouragement everyone sends me on social media. I feel the love and support and it means the world to me.
