Drake makes surprise release of ‘Honestly, Nevermind’

Last Thursday the 16th, Drake announced in a single tweet that he would be releasing a new album overnight. Said and done, at dawn this Friday the 17th, the singer launched Honestly, Nevermind, now available on streaming platforms.

The disc has 14 tracks and features a single cameo. Rapper 21 Savage sings with him on the song Jimmy Cooks, which is the latest from the project. Drake executive produced the album alongside Noah 40 Shebib, Oliver El-Kathib, Noel Register and Black Coffee.

Alongside the release, the Canadian rapper also released the clip for Falling Back, one of the tracks on the disc. In the video, he marries no less than 23 women.

The clip already has more than 1.5 million views and depicts the different moments of the ceremony and the party, during which the groom has fun with his brides and friends.

Honestly, Nevermind is the Canadian rapper’s seventh album in his career and comes nine months after the release of Certified Lover Boy.

On social media, fans celebrated the arrival of a new Drake album and even appealed to the last record he released, in September 2021.

“Nine months after (regular gestation time) Certified Lover Boy, which featured pregnant women as its cover, Drake announces his new album,” one user wrote.
