A Australia won European champions England’s 30-match unbeaten run on Tuesday (12) after winning a friendly 2-0 with goals from Kerr and Grant. With that, the two finalists of the last European Cup were beaten yesterday, as Germany lost 2-1 against Brazil.
Kerr opened the scoring in the 32nd minute of the first half, taking advantage of the failure of the defense and the referee, who did not realize she was offside. The friendly match did not have the presence of the VAR (Video Assistant Referee).
With 22 in the second half, Grant headed inside, the ball was deflected by Williamson and scored the game’s second goal.
Australia will have one more friendly match ahead of the World Cup, when they face France – Brazil’s Group F opponents – on July 14.
New Zealand lose 3-0 and still lose veteran to injury

The United States team, the current two-time world champions, only beat Ireland 1-0, thanks to a goal from Alana Cook in the 43rd minute of the first half. The team had already beaten the Irish on Saturday by 2-0.
The North Americans are yet to lose in 2024 and before leaving for New Zealand they will face Wales on July 9.
