The fund is maintained by countries like Norway and Germany and managed by the Brazilian government to promote actions to preserve the forest.
A priority in foreign policy, President Lula decided to embark on Thursday for the fourth international trip of this third term. He travels to Portugal and Spain. The departure to Lisbon, the Portuguese capital, is scheduled for 10 p.m. Focusing on trade and investment, energy, mobility, technology and innovation and health, President Lula has an agenda in Portugal until April 25.
