Last Saturday, 10-06, within the framework of the 99th anniversary commemoration program, the Municipality of Maracaju, the Rural Union of Maracaju and the Shunji Nishimura Foundation signed a cooperation agreement for the application of an educational methodology in the municipality.
Initially, the methodology will be introduced in a school, gradually, by considering the pedagogical model known as “Deep Learning”, from the Canadian school Master’s Academy & College, in Calgary. The premise of Deep Learning is to develop the autonomy and academic excellence of the student, especially in the sense of allowing him to visualize and create a future that does not yet exist.
According to Mayor Marcos Calderan, this is an important action that should extend and accelerate the positive results of education in Maracaju.
“Our management has invested heavily in education, recovering physical structures, investing in training, high-tech equipment, focusing on providing a better education and a better future for our children. and grandchildren, it’s not just a slogan, it’s about real work, changing people’s lives. Now, by signing this mandate, we are taking another important step, I want to thank Nerinha for l ‘Maracaju Rural Union for championing this idea, I always say, as a public manager, I’m grateful to God, for the good people placed in our path, now it’s working and reaping the rewards. Marcos Calderan put in evidence.
With this signing, Maracaju becomes the first municipality in the country to sign a partnership with the Shunji Nishimura Foundation, previously only signed with the private sector, which has been widely celebrated by the authorities and educators of Maracaju.
For the president of the Rural Union, Fábio Caminha, Maracaju grows with these strong partnerships, congratulating the mayor Marcos Calderan for having “worn the shirt” of the idea proposed by the director of the Women’s Center of the Union, Ana Nery Terra Souza.
“It’s thinking about the future, I congratulate Mayor Marcos, Vice Mauro and all their team, we thank our dear Nerinha for making this dream come true, now is the time to work and count on a better future for our students.” Fábio Caminha highlighted.
