Canadian actress and filmmaker Monia Chokri chose a sheer, well-cut look to arrive on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet this Friday (19). Contrary to the famous superstition of covering the navel, the Canadian always left the part of the body exposed.
The festival, which takes place in the south of France, marks tributes and ovations in this 76th edition. This Thursday (18), Harrison Ford could not stand the emotion after the screening of Indiana Jones and the Relic of Fate and was moved to tears.
The film received a five-minute standing ovation from the audience, and the famously tough star couldn’t hold back tears, surprising fans. He also unexpectedly received an honorary Palme d’Or for his film career.
