Government of RS Presents IPE Health Restructuring Proposal for Allied Base MPs | Rio Grande do Sul

The governor of Rio Grande do Sul, Eduardo Leite, presented, on Tuesday evening (16), the IPE Saúde Restructuring Project for Allied Base Bank Leaders and Coordinators. The objective, according to Piratini, is to balance the accounts of the health plan for state employees, which has a monthly deficit of 36 million reais. The text contains modifications compared to the initial proposal, made in April. Learn more below.

According to the proposal presented by Leite, the readjustment of the contribution rate for holders of health insurance schemes has been maintained – it from 3.1% to 3.6%. The amounts for the insured cannot exceed what is determined by the IPE Saúde Tuition Reference Table.

Currently, IPE Health has more than 260,000 dependents who pay nothing to use the map. The table of contributions has been reduced compared to the first proposal. The range of charges for dependents under the age of 24, of R$ 49.28, has been maintained. In the others, percentage reduced from 40% to 35% of reference table.

The executive’s proposal also includes a global lock. The system sets the contribution ceiling at 12% of the domestic worker’s remuneration, regardless of the number of dependents in the family.

The percentage of co-participation in reviews and consultations remains the same as in the first proposal – it would change from 40% to 50%.

According to the government, the draft should be sent to the Legislative Assembly by the end of this week. The new model would come into effect for incumbents on the payroll after the law is enacted. For dependents, the format would take effect on the first sheet after 90 days of the sanction.

”We understand that we must first overcome this discussion, secure income and later see how to secure the scale of fees and medical services within the IPE, which will be revised in what we deem necessary to ensure buy-in from service providers,” notes Milk.
