Georges St-Pierre does not hide his enthusiasm at the idea of competing again in combat sports. At 42, the former champion of the cfu will perform at the ‘Fight Pass Invitational’, a grappling event promoted by the company, in December, in Las Vegas (USA), and will even help to choose his opponent. So much so that the Canadian constantly pitches names to the company and now lists Brazilian professionals as an opponent option.
In an interview with the official UFC channel no ‘Youtube‘, ‘GSP’ congratulated Anderson Silva, Demian Maia and Gilbert ‘Durinho’ and was open to facing any of them in the ‘Fight Pass Invitational’. Charles “Do Bronx”, the greatest finisher in the company’s history, is another Brazilian likely to appear on the Ultimate “Hall of Fame” member’s radar, as he admits he is interested in participating in the event to stay active. It should be noted that, previously, the Canadian also mentioned Colby Covington, Kamaru Usman and Nick Diaz, in addition to Khabib Nurmagomedov, as potential targets for the commitment which marks his return to combat sports.
“Anderson is the goat of mma. It would certainly be very interesting. It all depends on his weight and yes, it can definitely happen. Demian is probably the best or one of the best grapplers to ever compete in the UFC. I am therefore 100% interested in the challenge. Tough, yes, highly decorated in jiu-jitsu, still active fighter, yes, that would be a good fight. There are a lot of great options,” the former UFC champion said.
Record of ‘GSP’ in MMA
Georges St-Pierre, 42, has one of the most successful careers in MMA history.
