Eagle Holding Football Group is in negotiations to sign Moïse Bombito, defender of the Canadian national team and the Colorado Rapids. The information comes from journalists Fabrizio Romano and João Pedro Fragoso of “O Globo”.

According to them, one possibility in the negotiations is that the player goes to Botafogo before going to European football, where he would go to Lyon. The negotiation for Bombito follows the same model as the negotiation for Thiago Almada, which foresees the transfer of the player to another club within Eagle Holding. According to the Italian journalist specialized in transfers, the company would already have a first agreement with the player.

According to the newspaper, the deal is being handled by German Michael Gerlinder, Eagle’s director of football, who worked for 18 years at Bayern Munich and has been with the group since March this year. He is also involved in the negotiations for the signing of Thiago Almada.

Moise Bombito has gained ground in the new cycle with the Canadian team and was a starter and played 90 minutes in the Copa América debut against Argentina last Thursday. The player has been at Colorado Rapids since 2022 and, in the current season, he has played 16 games and scored two goals so far.
