With this result, the Brazilian team reaches seven triumphs in ten matches, with 21 points added. Ninth-placed Slovenia can reach the same number of wins and points if they beat Bulgaria, Iran and Poland 3-0. Additionally, they will have to hope Brazil lose Japan and France 3-0. If all this happened, the Iranian team would be left out.

Without them, Canada lost its attacking potential and only got scared in the second set, when it came to opening with a four-point lead.

The green-yellow turn came with the great collaboration of Isac for the service. In the game there were three ace network support. Civitanova’s reinforcement activated well in attack, adding seven more points in the base.

The top Brazilian scorer was Leal, with 15 hits and good offensive use (68%). Bruninho also stood out, whose distribution saw two other athletes reach double-digit points: Darlan (12) and Flávio (10).

On the other hand, Lucarelli had no offensive protagonism, finishing the four sets with only four points, all in attack. On the Canadian side, Hofer finished the game with 13.
