El Salvador, October 2022 – They are in all the airports of the world with a camera in hand and the gaze in the sky to make this unforgettable photo of the planes. Thinking of celebrating the spotters, those people whose hobby is to record images of planes, Salvador Bahia Airport will organize next Saturday (15) a special day with exclusive access behind the scenes of the airport. The day of conferences and visits to the airport is part of the VINCI Airports Spotter Day, which takes place in all the countries where the network is present.
Aviation enthusiasts can take photos and videos from the runway and patio at Salvador Bahia Airport. The day was created by VINCI Airports to celebrate this public who, in addition to recording their passion, also helps to tell the story of aviation through their lens.
The event is free and the link allowing interested parties to register has been published on the airport’s social networks. VINCI Airports Spotters Day in Salvador marks its return after two years of suspension due to the pandemic and is supported by Azul Linhas Aéreas, Abaeté Aviação, TAP Air Portugal, Gol Linhas Aéreas, Associação Brasileira das Empresas Aéreas (Abear) and AeroTime School of Civil Aviation.
The Salvador Bahia airport program will start at 8:00 a.m., with breakfast and the provision of a flight simulator, in addition to meetings with aviation enthusiasts, such as the photographer passionate about aerial photography Rui Rezende . Finally, the group will have access to the sides of the track and will participate in a draw.
The hobby of photographing aircraft during landings, takeoffs and airport structures is common around the world. With this in mind, Spotters Day takes place simultaneously in the airports of the 11 countries where VINCI Airports is present: Brazil, Chile, Japan, United States, France, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Portugal, Cambodia, United Kingdom and Serbia. In Brazil, in addition to Salvador, Manaus airport will also host the event.
