THE Brazil win 3-0 over Ghanaduring a friendly match which took place this afternoon in France, delighted the international press.
In major sports pages around the world, the five-time champion team was highly praised – mainly for the attacking power shown on the pitch.
The Spanish newspaper As, for example, classified the attack of the team led by Tite as “the best in the world”.
“Brazil is a team that, with France’s permission, has the best attack in the world. Especially on the left side, where Neymar and Vinicius Júnior have fun and overcome everything that happens in this sector.”
Another Spanish vehicle that highlighted the offensive DNA of Brazilian team it was Sport, who claimed Ghana were ‘devastated’.
“The national team played seriously, pressed with a high block and smothered the Ghanaians. Goal after goal was falling. […] Tite was very clear on how to interpret the vaunted “offensive quintet”. Neymar and Lucas Paquetá had freedom of movement and created the perfect storm with the Raphinha trio, open on the right, Vinicius Júnior, on the left, and Richarlison in the middle.
Finally, Marca called the result an ‘avalanche’ and stressed that the South Americans had ‘fun’ on the pitch.
Richarlison praised
A country that hosts many national team players in its clubs, England, through its press, had little impact on Brazil’s game.
The reason? The home team was relegated from Nations League after loss to Italya fact that has taken over the news.
Even so, there was room for praise for the five-time champions. Author of two of Brazil’s three goals, striker Richarlison, who has been playing in the European country for five years, is remembered.
“Richarlison inspires the team to a big win,” The Sun wrote of the Tottenham striker on its website.
