– The Federation of Trade in Goods, Services and Tourism of Goiás (Fecomércio), through its president and vice-president of the CNC, Marcelo Baiocchi, received the delegation of the Canadian Embassy during a lunch, Monday (7/11), organized by Fecomex. Foreign trade unit of Fecomércio-GO, Fecomex has acted forcefully to create opportunities and strengthen relationships with several countries around the world with the aim of expanding Goiás’ trade and helping entrepreneurs who want to work abroad .
During lunch, the agendas were the economic scenario in Goiás and its prospects, also considering agriculture, especially with regard to the technologies available for the area currently in Goiás. The objective is to seek solutions in this direction. In another topic, the general manager of Sesc Senac, Leopoldo Veiga Jardim, presented the activities developed by the entities, in the educational, artistic, cultural, professionalizing and social aspects. In addition to these topics, technology and the agricultural sector were also discussed, with the presence of the president of SGPA, Gilberto Marques Neto, and other representatives of the entity.
Following the first visit, a group of investors from Goiás have already advanced in a joint venture project with a Canadian mining company. In addition to those already mentioned, the director of Fecomex, Marcelo Gomes, the chief of staff of the Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply of Goiás (SEAPA), Manoel Pereira Machado Neto, the vice president from the Federation of Agriculture and Livestock of Goiás (Faeg), Eduardo Veras, the Director of Institutional Affairs of Fecomércio-GO, Simeyzon Silveira, Vice President of Sindilojas, Marisa Elena de Melo Moura Carneiro, and other representatives of the above entities and the Embassy of Canada.
Fecomércio-GO, whose president is Marcelo Baiocchi, is part of the National Confederation of Trade in Goods, Services and Tourism (CNC), chaired by José Roberto Trados.
