Singer Taylor Swift was the big winner of the MTV EMA 2022, the prize for European music channels, winning in four categories, including the main ones of the event.

Taylor won Best Artist, Best Pop Artist, Best Video, and Best Long Form Video, competing with the video for “All Too Well (Taylor’s Version)”. During the thank you, she congratulated not only the fans who voted for her, but also actors Dylan O’Brien and Sadie Sink, who starred in the video.

Other award highlights went to Harry Styles, Nicki Minaj and David Guetta, who took home two awards each. And also for the Brazilian Anitta, winner of the Best Latin Artist category.

The biggest surprise came when BLACKPINK member Lisa won the solo victory over her group as the top K-Pop artist.

The European Music Awards took place this Sunday afternoon (13) in Düsseldorf, Germany, with a performance by singer Rita Ora and filmmaker Taika Waititi, who are married. In addition to the trophies, the event opened its stage to several musical performances, including the rock band Muse, the musical partnership of David Guetta and Bebe Rexha and the catchy sound of Gorillaz – by “coincidence”, all also awarded.
