This Thursday, Canada and Morocco meet in the third round of Group F of the World Cup. The match takes place at Al Thumama Stadium, at 12:00 p.m. (Brasilia time). Already eliminated, the Canadians are aiming for at least one victory in this competition. On the other hand, Morocco wants a place in the round of 16.

Canada has two losses in two rounds. On his debut, he lost 1-0 against Belgium and then suffered another loss, 4-1, against Croatia. The team has therefore not yet added points and is the last of the group.

On the other hand, Morocco are still fighting for the knockout spot, for the second time in history. The last time the Moroccans qualified was in 1986. The African team have four points and are second in the group. In the last round, they won a historic victory against Belgium, by 2-0.

As well as needing to win, the Moroccans also need to hope for victory for Croatia, who have the same four points and are the group leaders. In the first round, Morocco drew 0-0 with Croatia. However, if the Africans win and Croatia lose, the Africans can finish top of the group.

Goalkeeper Yassine Bounou, who had to miss the game due to illness, could return to the team. Without many goals to achieve, Canada shouldn’t have any big surprises in the roster. The Canadiens have the full squad, with no embezzlement or injury.
