Sunday (18) was marked by the thrilling FIFA World Cup decision between Argentina and France. The game in Qatar was hotly contested and made World Cup history, being decided on penalties and crowning the Argentines with the third championship. A little far from the Arab country, in Prague, capital of the Czech Republic, another important championship also saw its winner.

EPT Prague, the final stop of the European Poker Tour season, ended with Jordan Saccucci winning the Main Event. The Canadian player’s victory came in front of a record field of 1,267 entries, each paying €5,300, which generated a total prize pool of €6,144,950. The winner received a prize of €913,250, before this feat he had around $400,000 in career earnings.

The final amount dedicated to the champion was defined after a head-to-head with the Frenchman Antoine Saout. 2nd place went away with a prize of €800,000. Who completed the podium was the Hungarian Istvan Pilhofer, owner of €470,500. Even though Brazil had an incredible run in the Czech Republic, with two titles won by Rodrigo Seijithe top Main Event Tupiniquim was Pablo Brito in 126th for €9,950.
