A user of reddit pays a curious homage to the map divide in VALORANTS. User “Xplozion15” wrote a poem for the map that returned to rank in Update 6.0. In his recitation, the player talks about the attacking and defending side.
Besides writing the poem, he also invited other users to write their own poems. Check:
“The Split is back and the defense reigns, with its tight turns and narrow lanes
A small map for players to master
Faster moving mid-combat action
Defenders hold the line
Your tactics are precise and refined
They know the streets like the back of their hand
And in the end, Spike will remain
The attackers push with all their might
But the defenders hold them back
Battles in the midst of combat rage and roar
With Spike as the final score.
Split is back, and that’s proof
Skill, strategy and subtlety
For those who defend and for those who attack
May the best team win.
Removed from the map pool six months ago to make way for the pearl, Split makes improvements and returns to competitive matches. With the new update, two maps have left the match rotation, bind and Broken.
