Donations will help people with disabilities and those affected by the rains in the municipality
The Secretariat for People with Disabilities and the Elderly (SEPEDI) of the Municipality of San Sebastian received this week Don bath chairs, walkers, crutches and canes, sent by the São Paulo state government.
According to SEPEDI, the donations were 39 bath chairs, 30 wheelchairs, 30 walkers, 20 pairs of armpit crutches, 10 pairs of Canadian crutches, 20 units of ‘Robofoot G’, immobilizer boot, 16 units of ‘Robofoot M’, boot of immobilization, 10 ‘Type G’ units of sling, 15 units of ‘Type M’, 05 units of ‘Type P’ and 01 Cane, in a total of 196 assistive technology items.
According to the secretariat, the equipment has already been delivered to SEPEDI users who needed it, disabled people affected by the rains, basic health units (UBS) and rehabilitation centers in the neighborhoods of Topolândia and Boiçucanga.
The articles will help people with disabilities and those affected who have suffered some type of trauma or injury.
