The School Board of Canada has expressed support for the trans teacher who has been heavily attacked on social media because of the size of the six prostheses she uses.

Identified as Kayla Lemieux, the teacher had her photos shared by students and therefore suffered several online attacks. The board has published a safety plan to maintain the integrity of the teacher.

A professor responsible for the discipline of industrial arts, the woman saw her life exposed after her transition and, mainly, after adopting large breasts.

Halton District School Board president Margo Shuttleworth said “all the kids love being in her class.”

One of Kayla’s students was comfortable with the teacher’s new appearance. “That’s fine with me. I know some of my friends are a little uncomfortable with it, but I think she should be able to express herself however she wants.” (With information from the Daily Mail)
