This Friday (3), after completing two free practice sessions for Aston Martin, Lance Stroll said he could “totally ride” during the weekend of activities in Bahrain.
The Canadian fractured his wrist in preparation for the start of the 2023 Formula 1 Championship. As a result, he missed pre-season, with Brazilian Felipe Drugovich taking over at AMR23.
During today’s FP2, it was possible to observe on Stroll’s on-board camera a different movement to guide, trying not to force the wrist as much as possible. At one point, the team asked Lance to adjust his line, but the driver said he couldn’t “because of his hands.”
However, Stroll said he was in good shape for this weekend’s contests: “I feel good,” he said after practice. “A bit stuck, but overall I felt good in the car today. I feel like I can definitely drive, no problem.
