Gold medals for the United States and France in big air skiing at the Freestyle Skiing and Snowboarding World Cup; Austria lead the medal standings

American Troy Podmilsak and Frenchwoman Tess Ledeux won the big air ski, which ended the Freestyle World Ski and Snowboard Championship, which ended on Saturday (4).

On the men’s side, Podmilsak won with 187.75 in the sum of Georgia’s two best runs. Austrian Lukas Muellauler won silver with 184.50 points and Norwegian Birk Ruud bronze with a total of 183.50 points.

Ledeux won the women’s gold medal scoring 186.75 on her two best attempts. Silver went to Norway’s Sandra Eie, with 175 points, and bronze to Canada’s Megan Oldham, with 174 points.

Austria lead the medal standings

If Austria had a tragic Alpine Skiing World Cup, in which they did not win gold for the first time since 1987, in the Freestyle Skiing and Snowboarding World Cup, they recovered , with three gold medals and a total of 13 medals, ranking first.

In addition to the Austrians, Canada, the United States, Switzerland and France also achieved three gold medals. In the tiebreaker, Austria led with six silver medals, while the Canadians and Americans had the same campaign (3 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze).

Switzerland had two silver medals and France none, placing 4th and 5th.
