Lille and Lyon, second half match

After a weak first half, with only one good chance on either side, the game flared up in the final stage. That was courtesy of Jonathan David’s first-minute strike, backing up a cross from the left and putting Lille ahead. The 16-year-old David collected a penalty very well, making it 2-0. The victory seemed contained, but Barcola reduced it to Lyon two minutes later.

Lyon then looked for an equaliser, but were initially unlucky. In a shower for the surface, the ball touched the arm of Lacazette, who was in the barrier. Penalty which David took and scored. However, Lacazete totally redeemed himself. At 38 minutes, he appears in the area and, with a header, makes it 3-2. At 43 minutes, he appears in the area to play in the angle of the goalkeeper Chevalier, a superb goal from the Lyon top scorer, now at 16 goals.

Lacazette almost reversed the roles. However, at 49 minutes Bamba entered the area and was knocked down by Kumbedi. Third penalty for Lille? This time, Jonathan David had already left the field after 41 minutes. A few seconds before loading. VAR called the referee, who canceled the penalty. End of a match that ended 3-3.
