Clube das Cinco da Manhã is a movement that aims to encourage the practice of getting up early to maximize productivity and achieve the best possible health. The idea comes from the Canadian writer Robin Sharma who, in his book “The 5AM Club”, proposes a routine that begins at five in the morning and ends before 9 p.m.
For the routine to materialize, Robin suggests applying the 20/20/20 formula, which consists of the following steps:
- Divide the first hour of the day into three sessions;
- Distribute different goals for each;
- Practice a high-intensity physical activity during the first session;
- Think about tomorrow in the second session;
- Separate the moments dedicated to learning in the third session.

Every individual has a brain that works in their own way, which means some may be more productive at times when others may not.
In this sense, there are people who are more willing in the morning, others in the afternoon, others in the evening, it is not a general rule. Therefore, the idea that getting up early is better for everyone is not 100% true. It must be understood that each person is unique and that there is no magic formula for productivity and health.
