The Paraná Sports Managers Meeting – The Sport We Want will take place on April 13-14 in Foz do Iguaçu, Western Region. The eighth edition of the event is based on the sharing of experiences and the main results of the policies implemented by the State Secretariat for Sports.

According to Joselene Anjos, strategic planning coordinator and organizer of the seven previous editions, the meeting has become emblematic and eagerly awaited by managers, who have the opportunity to learn about the annual planning, its organizational structure and the communication channels. access to incentive initiatives and promotion that the State promotes.

“In addition to the state administration that presents itself in this context, there is also the involvement of the federal government. As a flagship of the event, we provide the manager with training guidelines that are worked according to the sports demand in the municipalities,” explains Joselene.

Another objective of the event is to bring together the 399 municipalities in one place. The coordinator of the Regional Offices of the Secretariat, Rosimeire de Caires, ensures that everyone is committed to inviting and motivating the participation of managers from each city. “Building the Sport we want in practice happens when everyone recognizes their importance and the importance of the other in the process,” he says.

At registrations are opened and encouraged by the Secretary of State for Sports, Helio Wirbiski. “I invite everyone to come and learn about our strategic planning and the entire Paraná sports program for the next four years. Everyone will be welcome and very well received in Foz do Iguaçu,” he said.

PREVIOUS ISSUE – The seventh edition of the meeting was held in December 2021 and brought together more than 500 participants. The conferences and debates highlighted the protagonism of sports managers and focused on technologies, innovations and the verticalization of the federal, state and municipal sports system.
