There are more news in the field of gastronomic landing in Novo Hamburgo.
Last week it opened its doors to João Peter Pocket. It is a pizzeria installed in Avenida Maurício Cardoso, 457 – in front of Campus 1 of the Feevale University and practically next to the Regina Hospital.
At the head of the company is the couple Patrícia Duarte and João Peter Pizzaiolo.
This is the third operation they are carrying out. The other two are Casa das Pizzas João Peter, in São Leopoldo, and Tenda.208, at Picada Café.
In June of this year, the Martin Behrend portal published an article showing the development of the activity of the couple of entrepreneurs. Eager for knowledge, the pizza maker was present at the last edition of the National Restaurant Association Show 2022 (NRA), held in Chicago, United States, in May, through a trade mission provided by Sebrae RS.

João Peter Pocket is located at a heavy traffic point in the Hamburgo Velho district, at an address that has gained a pleasant terrace in front. The interior is welcoming, with details that make the difference.
Standout flavors on the menu include Carroça (cheese, meat, bacon, provolone, gorgonzola, parmesan, mushrooms and catupiry), Jeremias (cheese, bacon, Canadian loin, pepperoni, tirolez, red onion and olive) and Tomatto ( cheese, tomato, basil, pesto sauce and gorgonzola shavings).
The sales champion in the history of the pizza maker is Peter Salad: cheese, meat, special Tirolez cheese, iceberg lettuce and an original vinaigrette. “It makes a big difference. It was my creation. Customers from different cities ask us to try it. And they approve,” he says.
The menu also features sweet pizzas, wines, and branded souvenirs, such as hats and t-shirts. João Peter Pocket is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
