Mint Mobile was founded in 2016 by Canadian actor David Glickman and Rizwan Kassim. With the deal, Ryan Reynolds will continue his creative role and maintain “a continuing stake” in the company, where he owns around a 25% interest, having earned around $337.5 million from the deal. While the other two executives will remain at T-Mobile to manage the brand.

Lacking physical stores, Mint Mobile sells its mobile devices and plans online, and the service is provided by T-Mobile itself, under a network sharing agreement. “Mint Mobile is the ultimate wireless company and today’s news only increases our ability to deliver to our customers.,” Reynolds said in a joint statement.

“We are so pleased that T-Mobile won an aggressive last minute bid from my mother Tammy Reynolds as we believe their excellent 5G network will provide a better strategic fit than mahjong skills. [jogo virtual] slightly above my mother’s average. I’m so proud of the entire Mint team and so excited for what’s to come.”

In addition to his career as an actor and mobile operator, Ryan Reynolds also has businesses in other fields. In 2020, Diageo acquired its spirits company Aviation Gin – in which it held an “unspecified minority stake”.

He also runs the production company Maximum Effort. In 2021, Reynolds and Always Sunny in Philadelphia creator Rob McElhenney bought a football club, Wrexham AFC, for $2.5 million.
