‘s-Hertogenbosch (Netherlands) – This time, the Canadian Milos Raonic did not back down and he will return to the circuit. He had suggested taking part in the ATP 250 on Dutch grass and confirmed his presence when the main draw was announced.
The former number 3 has not played since July 2021 in Atlanta. Now 32, he is suffering from a series of injuries. Two seasons ago, he was out for four months with thigh problems and then injured his Achilles tendon.

In May last year he suffered a domestic accident when a weight fell on his foot, breaking a finger. Manager Mario Tudor said at the end of the year that Raonic intended to return in early 2023.
His first opponent in Hertogenbosch will be Serbian Miomir Kecmanovic and, if he wins, the 2016 Wimbledon runner-up could face Jordan Thompson. In his quadrant, there is also the favorite and runner-up from last year, Daniil Medvedev. The Russian goes straight to the second round and waits for Adrian Mannarino or a qualifier.
The upper part of the support also had Borna Coric and Maxime Cressy and at the bottom were Jannik Sinner and Alex de Minaur. The Italian could have a difficult start if he faces Alexander Bublik.
Rafael Matos and Marcelo Demoliner of Rio Grande do Sul are in doubles. Matos and his Portuguese partner Francisco Cabral make their debut against guests Daniel Altmaier and Dustin Brown, while Demoliner will join Germany’s Andreas Mies to take on Albano Olivetti and David Vega.
Marcelo Melo from Minas Gerais will play doubles, again alongside Australian John Peers. The two take on De Minaur and Jordan Thompson.
