Air France continues to develop its service to Canada.
In the summer of 2023, the airline will operate up to 50 weekly flights to 5 destinations in Canada: Ottawa (new for 2023), Quebec City (new for 2022), Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver (destinations served year-round by Air France) , destinations accessible from Lisbon or Porto via the Paris-CDG hub.
The link between Paris-CDG and Ottawa Macdonald-Cartier (YOW) will be inaugurated on June 27, 2023. There will be 5 flights/week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, operated by Airbus A330-200 with a capacity of 224 seats (36 in the Business cabin, 21 in Premium Economy and 167 in Economy).
Flight times (in local time):
– AF328: Departure from Paris-CDG at 1:10 p.m., arrival in Ottawa at 3:05 p.m.
– AF327: Leaving Ottawa at 5:05 p.m., arriving at Paris-CDG the following day at 6:15 a.m.
Air France will be the only airline to operate direct flights between Ottawa and Europe.
The Air France bus service, currently offered free of charge between Montréal-Trudeau airport and Ottawa, will continue to offer two daily frequencies, sometimes adapted to connections on Air France flights to/from Paris. This service is also available between Montréal-Trudeau and Québec, also with two daily frequencies.
Present in Canada since 1950, Air France will this summer be the main European airline in terms of capacity between Europe and Canada.
Ottawa, federal capital of Canada
The fourth most populous city in Canada, Ottawa is home to the country’s federal institutions. Capital strongly linked to nature, it is distinguished by its exceptional architectural heritage, to be discovered on foot, by boat or by bike along the 800 km of urban and rural paths in the region. Its many museums are opportunities to discover the history and culture of Canada.
Resumption of the Paris-CDG – Quebec route and increase in capacity to other destinations in Canada
Inaugurated in the summer of 2022, the Paris-CDG – Québec seasonal link will resume this year. Three flights per week will be provided by Boeing 787-9 on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays from May 2, 2023.
