Acapulco (Mexico) – As usual in recent seasons, the ATP 500 list at Acauplco is full of great players, the main one being the Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, current world number 2, who will be one of the five best players in the Mexican tournament.
The Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, the Norwegian Casper Ruud, the North American Taylor Fritz and the Dane Holger Rune come to reinforce the strong team of the event, which takes place from February 27 to March 4.
In addition to them, three other top 20 will aim for the title, with a focus on Briton Cameron Norrie, current world 11 and runner-up in the last edition, overtaken by Rafael Nadal in the decision. The other two contenders for the top 20 are Americans Frances Tiafoe and Tommy Paul.
Other names of interest in the dispute are Italian Matteo Berrettini, Australian Alex de Minaur, Canadian Denis Shapovalov and Frenchman Richard Gasquet.
The list ended with the also Frenchman Adrian Mannarino, 58th in the ATP rankings, and the first waiting is the Swede Mikael Ymer, currently 60th in the world. The Mexican Rodrigo Pacheco Mendez (1310th) received the first invitation from the organization and will be in parenthesis.
