Another absence, that of Victor Backes (KTF Sports), prevented from competing in this stage due to health problems.

Due to the long distances, there would be no conditions for the young Brazilian, representing Shell in Formula 4 Brazil, to arrive in Maranello, Italy, in time to participate in the selective. Among the finalists, in addition to Aurelia, are the Scottish Chloe Grant, the Australian Alice Buckley and the Anglo-Canadian of Chinese origin Chloe Chong.

Born on June 28, 2005 in Brasília, Arthur has a different trajectory than most of his peers. The driver only had his first contact with motorsport at the age of 15, at the end of 2020, when he started karting.

Pavie made his debut with a title in the Federal District Kart Championship in the Novice category, participated in the Brazilian Championship held last year and, in the current season, integrates the SP Light Kart Cup grid, being the vice-leader of the Sprinter class.

In 2022, the brasiliense also made his debut behind the wheel of Formula Delta cars and is fifth in the championship among rookies. From now on, Pavie will have the opportunity to be part of the BRB Formula 4 Brazil field. The number chosen by Arthur is 88.

unexpected coincidence

Arthur celebrated the unprecedented opportunity, which came as a surprise. “I am very happy to take part in this next stage of the BRB Formula 4 Brazil in Goiânia. Coming into the middle of the championship and being able to race in a heat is an opportunity no one else has had this year. It will be a learning week: both because it’s a new category for me and because everyone is an excellent driver”.

“The news that I would be racing at this stage took me by surprise. I was ready to race the Brazilian kart when I was told about this chance, and obviously I couldn’t pass it up. It will be a big step. in my career to make a step on such a competitive grid,” said the driver, who will be managed by experienced team boss Thiago Meneghel and will have as teammates drivers Lucas Staico, Lucca Zucchini and Nicholas Monteiro.
