Noah Lyles is the fastest man in the world in 2024. The American is the champion in the 100 meter sprint at the Budapest 2023 World Cup.
Noah Lyes made the decision with the highest score in the semi-finals. Thus, at the decision of the test, he managed to repeat the feat and to be the fastest man in the world, completing the test in 9.83 seconds. This is the sprinter’s first achievement in the 100 meters, since he has already been twice champion in the 200 meters.
The podium of the fastest race in the world was completed by Letsile Tebogofrom Botswana, and Zharmel Hughes, from Great Britain. The two athletes were tied on time when they arrived with 9.88. But, Tebogo got the silver medal in the thousandths of the race.
In the men’s 10,000 meter final, Joshua Cheptegei, from Uganda, was the grand champion. The athlete finished the race with a time of 27:51.42, his best mark of the year. In sequence, Daniel Ebenyoof Kenya, with 27:52.60 won silver and Selemon Baregaof Ethiopia, with bronze and a time of 27:52.72.
The other end of the afternoon was the Men’s Hammer Throw. the canadian Ethan Katzberg was the great champion, reaching the mark of 81.25 meters. The Poles complete the podium Wojciech Nowicki with 81.02 and Hungarian Bence Halasz with 80.82.
