ATP Finals champion Novak Djokovic moves up to fifth in the standings

Champion of the ATP Finals last Sunday, the 20th, the Serbian Novak Djokovic rose to fifth place in the ranking of the Association of Professional Tennis Players (ATP). He added 1,850 points and jumped three places. The leader remains the Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, followed by his compatriot Rafael Nadal. The Norwegian Casper Ruud, beaten by Djokovic, moves up one position and appears in third place, taking the place of the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, now in fourth place.

The sixth position among the best in the world remains with the Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime, followed by the Russians Daniil Medvedev and Andrey Rublev. Semi-finalist in the ATP Finals, North American Taylor Fritz retained ninth place, ahead of Pole Hubert Hurkacz. Brazilian Thiago Monteiro has dropped nine positions and is now in 73rd place (738 points), the biggest drop among the top 100 tennis players in the ranking. On the other hand, the experienced Canadian Vasek Pospisil managed to climb 15 places and is now in hundredth place (570 points).
