Brazilians Evandro and Arthur Lanci qualified for the round of 16 of the beach volleyball tournament at the Olympic Games in Paris (France) after beating Canadians Schachter and Dearing 2-0 (21/13 and 21/16) this Wednesday-Friday (31).

The Brazilians’ next match, in the last round of Group E, will face the Czech duo Perusic and Schweiner, starting at 4:00 p.m. (Brasilia time) next Friday (2), in a match that will define the first place in the group.
The men’s beach volleyball tournament at the Paris 2024 Games features 24 pairs divided into six groups of four teams. In addition to Evandro and Arthur, Brazil also has the duo André and George.
The top two teams from each group advance to the round of 16, along with the two best third-placed teams. There will also be a playoff for the other four third-placed teams to compete for the remaining two places.
