Bet99 has signed a multi-year agreement with the National Hockey League (NHL) in Canada to launch a new free predictive game for the league. The game, NHL PrePlay, will use NHL Edge data to generate predictions, offering experiences as prizes in addition to a top prize of $73,450.
The game will be available on all game days during the NHL season. Prediction questions include: “Who will win the match?” and ‘Which of these players will have the toughest game?’
Fans of the game will receive points based on correct answers, with the top-point recipient receiving over $70,000 as the grand prize winner. Additional prizes include in-store gift cards, weekly tickets and a monthly trip to a NHLlike the NHL Winter Classic.
Under the agreement, Bet99 will receive exposure when broadcasting games for its brands via digitally enhanced panels and during the Stanley Cup Playoffs, which will be broadcast on Rogers Sportsnet.
The agreement also gives Bet99 a number of exclusive marketing rights and designations that will connect the brand with NHL fans using the league’s marketing network, digital channels and social media.

“Designed to support our focus on education in the gaming space, the game offers players the opportunity to explore the space and learn more without placing real-money bets.”
“Not only is the NHL PrePlay program innovative and a great entry point for new and potential bettors, but the educational aspect also aligns well with our goal of responsible gaming.
