The young Luiz Eduardo Magalhães Guinle, grandson of former federal deputy Luís Eduardo Magalhães and great-grandson of former senator Antônio Carlos Magalhães (ACM), follows his preparations to enter Bahian politics. The heir began, last week, a course at the Institute of Political Studies in Paris, France.

“I will have the opportunity to study public policy analysis and political science. I am grateful to be able to draw intellect from this institute which has produced presidents of several countries, Nobel laureates and world leaders, examples being the current President of France, Macron, the former Prince of Monaco , Rainier III, and the former President of Canada, Pierre Trudeau,” Guinle posted on his social media.

Luiz Eduardo Guinle, 22, has previously traveled to Bahia to make political contacts in the state. In June, he attended the Bahia Farm Show, in the town named after his grandfather – Luís Eduardo Magalhães. There he posed for a photo alongside the city’s mayor, Junior Marabá (PP), and former state deputy Paulo Câmara (PSDB).

During the event in West Bahia, the young Magalhães revealed to the BNews his interest in acting in Brazilian politics. “In my childhood, in my adolescence, I was more interested in learning politics than other colleagues. Anyway, I always had this vocation in school, I tried to understand and study a lot about this and my intentions to enter politics without the definition of an election,” he confessed.

During the 2022 election campaign, he even took part in some campaign acts alongside his cousin, then candidate for state governor ACM Neto (União Brasil), who ended up being beaten by the current State Director Jerônimo Rodrigues (PT).

Despite his constant presence in Bahia’s political universe as of 2022, Guinle has maintained a permanent residence in São Paulo, the city where his mother, chef and digital influencer Carol Magalhães also lives.
