Brazil is in contention for the medals this Thursday, during the seventh day of the Pan American Games in Santiago. The country won important places in the finals, notably in baseball and boxing, as well as a medal in sports shooting.
Medal in sports shooting
Brazil won bronze in this sport with Felipe Wu. In the 10m air pistol dispute. he was surpassed only by Tugrul Ozer (gold), of Canada, and James Hall (silver), of the United States.
Baseball
The Brazilian team won a medal in this sport. Colombia’s victory over Mexico put Brazil in the decider. The Brazilians face Mexico before the decision, which will be made on Saturday.

After beating Mexico, the women’s team won again in Santiago. Without difficulty, they beat Venezuela 94 to 47 and remained 100% in the competition.

Gustavo Heide reached the round of 16 in the men’s singles group. Against the Canadian Justin Boulais, the Brazilian won 2-0, with a double 6/3.
Handball
