The 2022 draft took place less than 30 days ago. Young talents haven’t even played for NBA teams, playing for the summer league. Still, some of the North American sports media has wasted no time and is already making projections for the 2023 draft.
Of course, one year from the ceremony, everything could change. However, the number 1 choice seems already defined: Victor Wembanyama. At 18 years old and 2.20 m, the French pivot is the favorite among the projections made. If no surprises occur in the next 12 months, he should be the first pick in the 2023 draft.
