Canada. School district suspends teacher after tabloid controversy

youA woman, an elementary school teacher in Toronto, Canada, has been suspended from her job following allegations made by the tabloid New York Post. Parents have complained about the woman’s alleged breast implants, which she says are the result of a rare condition, but the newspaper alleges she removes the implants when not working.

Parents of students at Oakville Trafalgar High School attempted to get answers from the educational institution, generating heated controversy and numerous threats against the teacher and school officials.

Kayla Lemieux was finally ‘put on paid leave earlier this week’ by decision of the Halton School District, reports the new york post officea decision which was announced after an article in the American tabloid which showed images which he claimed were of the teacher – the images showed a man.

In an interview with the same publication, the teacher said that the man who was photographed is not her and that he suffers from a rare disease, dubbed gigantomastia, which causes him to have larger breasts than normal.

“I don’t have breast implants. These are real. My condition is classified as gigantomastia, which can also be called macromastia or breast enlargement,” he said, though he didn’t provide any proof of his condition.

Kayla tells the same publication that she started taking hormone replacement therapy in 2021, being in the process of “transitioning”. However, he adds that he is not “a transgender person”, but was born intersex.
