Canada and Brazil meet again in a new international women’s football friendly match. This Tuesday (31), the teams will face each other at 7:30 p.m., at the Wanderers Grounds, in a match that will mark coach Arthur Elias’ second match at the helm of the Brazilian women’s team. The duel will be broadcast live on SporTV, on closed television.
Last Saturday (28), the Brazilian team beat Canada 1-0, at the Stade de Montréal. In this way, the match marked the debut of coach Arthur Elias, ex-Corinthians, and the winning goal was scored by striker Debinha in stoppage time. In addition, the duel also had Cristiane and Marta as holders.
However, during a press conference held this Monday (30), coach Arthur Elias indicated that he would make changes to the starting lineup for the second match against the Canadiens.
“We’re going to practice this afternoon (Monday), closer to game time, and then after talking to them and discussing some situations with the players and practicing on the field, then I’ll really define the starting 11. But it is certain that Brazil will have changes in its starting XI and also in some replacements that we have already planned. It’s a process of team development and opportunities for us to capitalize on this work,” the coach said.

At the same time, the friendly matches against the Canadians mark the start of the Brazilian team’s preparation to participate in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, in ten months.
