How do Canada and Brazil arrive?

The Canadian team enters the field at a disadvantage for the historic clash against Brazil. In 30 matches, there are 12 Brazilian victories, 10 Canadian victories and 10 draws. Looking to reduce the gap, coach Bev Priestman is counting on the returns of Janine Beckie and Desiree Scott. On the other hand, Sydney Collins, Jayde Rivière and Nichelle Prince, for medical reasons, are not available.

Like Canada, Brazil also has important returns. After all, coach Arthur Elias has recalled Marta and Cristiane, who could even start Saturday’s match in the starting eleven. Canarinho, however, is also absent. Luana Bertolucci, for personal reasons, will not be able to participate in the competition. The coach has therefore called on midfielder Júlia Bianchi.
