We talked about future missions here in Campo Grande and in Mato Grosso do Sul,” he said. the ambassador.
He noted that important topics were on the agenda with the governor, including agribusiness, advanced manufacturing, energy transition and innovation and technology projects both in the state and in Canada. “We will be thinking about models of bilateral collaboration from an economic perspective,” he added.
The Special Secretary of the Government for International Relations, Luiz Renato, participated in the meeting and praised the good relations between the parties. “Integration of Canada and Mato Grosso do Sul, with Canadian companies getting to know the State for possible investments and with the reciprocity of Brazilian businessmen who want to know Canada. It was a very interesting meeting,” he stressed.
The meeting was also attended by Vice Governor José Carlos Barbosa, known as Barbosinha, and members of the delegation of the Canadian ambassador. “Mato Grosso do Sul has built a positive scenario and an environment conducive to welcoming significant private investments from large national and international companies,” he concluded.
