The 2023 edition of Roland Garros started on May 22, with the competition’s playoffs. And this Wednesday (31), takes place the first day of disputes of the main draw of the women’s doubles.

Representing Brazil, we had tennis players Luisa Stefani and Bia Haddad who qualified for the second phase with strong first-round wins. Alongside Belarusian Victoria Azarenka, Bia won the duo formed by Kaia Kanepi (Estonia) and Tereza Mihalikova (Slovakia) by 2 sets to 0, partials of 6/0 and 6/1.

Luisa, for her part, had the Canadian Gabriela Dabrowski in the confrontation against the Italian Elisabetta Cocciaretto and the German Tatjana Maria, also winning by 2 sets to nil with a double 6/2 at Roland Garros.
