Cirque du Soleil and Circocan organize a talent development workshop

The Curitiba metropolitan region will host an unprecedented event in the south of the country, NexGen – Cirque du Soleil Talent Development Workshop in partnership with Circocan, from October 8 to 14. The meeting will bring together athletes and circus artists to exchange experiences with experts from both companies and promote training with the aim of identifying potential artists for Cirque du Soleil shows.

During the week of workshops, participants will have the opportunity to learn and participate in the training process from world-renowned professionals.

NexGen, Cirque du Soleil’s talent development program, is carried out in partnership with training centers in countries of interest. In Brazil, the Canadian company selected Circocan to join its NexGen collaboration program.

Circocan, a circus company founded in Brazil in 2003, has extensive experience in creating educational programs and teaching circus for adults, youth and children. Every year, the Circocan team coordinates circus programs for children and adolescents in the United States, in addition to organizing courses and circus immersions in Brazil in its training center, located in Rancho MC – municipality of Mandirituba, which hosts events, artistic residencies, experiences and circus practices.

The workshop is held in Rancho MC, in the municipality of Mandirituba, located 45 km from Curitiba. The location is home to the Circocan training center.

Rancho MC has over 100,000 m² of green space, with lakes, forests, fields and a built-up area that includes an indoor gym, lounges, suites, chalets, accommodations, dining rooms , industrial kitchens and sports fields.
