THE fight It’s the Bellator have just partnered for an exclusive exhibition of events from one of today’s leading MMA organizations. In the premiere, which takes place this Saturday 4, the Fight shows the emotions of Bellator 290, which marks the farewell of one of the legends in the history of MMA: the Russian Fedor Emelianenko. He faces current champion Ryan Bader in the main event of the night, for the light heavyweight title. In the other title fight, Cuban Yoel Romero takes on Russian light heavyweight champion Vadim Nemkov. The card also includes Brazilian Neiman Gracie, ranked seventh in the welterweight division.

The fight continues to show the best for those who are truly fighting fans’, explains Rafael Gruenbaum, combat leader. The multi-year deal with Bellator bolsters the expansion of the fight channel’s portfolio, which recently also signed with Invicta, Rizin, ONE, Glory, KSW and Top Rank Boxing Duels.
Created in 2008 by American Bjorn Rebney, Bellator – which in Latin means “Warrior” – has belt disputes in eight weight categories for men and two for women. Among the current champions are two Brazilians, Patrício “Pitbull”, owner of the featherweight belt; and Cris Cyborg of Curitiba, also a featherweight division champion and undefeated since joining the organization. Names like Americans Ryan Bader, Sergio Pettis, Liz Carmouche, Phil Davis and Benson Henderson will be in action on Bellator cards; Canadian Rory MacDonald; Cuban Yoel Romero; in addition to Brazilians who appear in the spotlight, such as Douglas Lima from Goiás, Patricky “Pitbull” Freire from Rio Grande do Norte, Juliana Velasquez from Rio de Janeiro and Japanese naturalized Brazilian Goiti Yamauchi.
