Fear and mystery: dangerous and scary places where people disappear without a trace
We hear many random stories of people and things going missing, but when a certain place tends to be the recurring scene of suspicious disappearances, it’s weird and even scary about those places. Worse, these mysterious areas really exist, they are not the fruit of popular imagination.
In the gallery, discover grim regions and seas, where people and even large means of transport (like ships and planes) have disappeared without a trace. Many puzzles to this day have not been solved.

Bermuda Triangle
The Bermuda Triangle is the first story that comes to mind when we think of mysterious places. The region stretches from southern Florida to Puerto Rico and Bermuda.

Bermuda has been the scene of multiple disappearances of ships and boats over the years. In 1918, the USS Cyclops, with 309 crew on board, disappeared from the map.

This region is located between the states of Michigan and Wisconsin, United States.

One of the most notorious disappearances in the area was the Northwest Airlines plane, which operated Flight 2501 in 1950. The plane was never found.

Located in southwestern Vermont, United States, the Bennington Triangle recorded the disappearance of five people between 1945 and 1950.

Nevada Triangle
The area is 25,000 square miles, encompassing both the desert and the highlands of Nevada. It is located near Area 51, the famous military base.

In 2007, famed aviator and adventurer Steve Fossett was piloting a small plane in the area before disappearing without a trace. It took 13 months for rescue teams to find the wreckage of the plane and Fossett’s remains.

Sargasso Sea
Located in the Atlantic Ocean, the Sargasso Sea saw the mysterious disappearance of the Mary Celeste, a ship that would later become known as the Ghost Ship.
