Taking a higher education course in Canada is the path chosen by many Brazilians considering immigrating to the country. Training at a Canadian institution counts points in Express Entry, the government’s online application system for professionals that assigns a score for each characteristic of those intending to immigrate (age and family in Canada, for example) .
According to Canadian government data, 11,420 Brazilians were granted permanent residency in Canada in 2021. Of this total, 43.5% immigrated to the country through the Canadian Experience Class, one of three federal government programs part of Express Entry.
For this reason, to Hi Hello, only Canadian Brazilian agency present from east to west of Canadais now coming to Brazil in September, with the Canada Roadshow Pocket which will introduce the public to the processes, requirements and range of colleges and universities available for Brazilians to start their immigration project.
In São Carlos/SP, the event will take place on September 19, Monday, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Nacional In São Carlos, located at Av. Getúlio Vargas, 2330, in the Recreio São Judas Tadeu neighborhood, and will be attended by establishments following institutions: Sault College, Cambrian College, Georgian College, Fanshawe College.
The amount raised at the Canada Road Show will go to social projects
Registration for the event costs R$ 20 and the entire amount raised will be donated to three social institutions: the Support Group for Needy Children with Cancer of Pernambuco (GAC-PE), Martagão Gesteira Hospital , a philanthropic institution that helps children and adolescents in Salvador, and the Judah Jiu Jitsu school, a social project in Camaragibe (PE).
