Aston Martin driver Lance Stroll was absent from Circuit Zandvoort on Thursday and therefore missed the mandatory press activities. Stroll’s absence is due to his recovery from an infection. The rest of the weekend is however not threatened for the Canadian.
A spokesman for Aston Martin said: “Lance is recovering from an infection and will therefore not take part in press activities today. He is in good shape and will take part in the Formula 1 Dutch Grand Prix this weekend.
The British team did not reveal the exact nature of Stroll’s infection, or where it is believed to be. Anyway, it seems that as of Friday’s free practice, the Canadian should be back in action.
